This week in honor of it being Memorial Day Weekend and all. Y’know the official
start to summer, I decided to ask the question…….
What is your favorite “grilled” item? And if you don’t like cookouts, what dish do
you make every Memorial Day Weekend?
My favorite item is “Meathouse Marinated Steak Tips”. “The Meathouse” is a butchery around here that sells oh so delicious meat!!! Elle laughs every time I tell her we had meat from “The Meathouse”. But once you have it, you can’t go back to regular steak. My husband grills it and you can cut it with the side of your fork, it is thattender…..mmmmmm! I wouldn’t mind if “The Meathouse” wanted to send me some meat or some gift certificates, I would gladly write good things about them (wink, wink).
S’mores- not that I’ve had them in the past five years or anything
I love a good steak shish-ka-bob with grilled veggies and grilled corn on the cob. YUM!
I love my dads salsa burgers they are amazing! But I’m the salad girl of the family. Everyone always asks me to make pasta, macaroni, or potato salad. They are delicious!
Marinated steaks!! But only if it’s made with my moms recipe!
I love grilled corn…it’s so delicious!
I love grilled pineapple with grilled chicken or hamburgers! I also love grilled veggies!!
Grilled Chicken but sometime I like a grilled hotdog with spicey mustard.
I love a good hotdog or hamburger. They are easy and just so tasty.
I’d have to say grilled cheeseburgers or hotdogs. There’s just something about that smokey, charred taste that you don’t get when cooking them on the stove.
Steaks on the bbq are my favourite.
Love hamburgers/salmon. Swordfish was a favorite when I was living at home long ago with my parents.

I’m all about the ribs and kabobs. Kabobs and ribs. Oh yeah, now I’m hungry…
There’s nothing that I traditionally make every year for Memorial day, but my family really loves grilled shrimp wrapped with turkey bacon! YUM!
I am not a huge fan of grilled food. Sorry I couldn’t be more exciting

mmm…Brats, and cheeseburgers, and Amana steak kabobs…mmm… I also wish we could get the Butchery’s Ah-so pork. I loved food on the grill in general, and summer time foods! I think we our going to finally buy our first grill this summer. I am excited!

I love steaks on the BBQ but only if they’re cooked perfectly.
Steak, burgers, roast. Lately my husband has been grilling green beans, bread.. lol anything he can think of.
