I’ve always been partial to orange cats. Okay, I’ve always been partial to all cats, but I do love orange kitties. Growing up we had a big orange boy named Charlie. He was such a sweetheart.
One of our first cats we had as a family came to us as a stray orange kitten we named Jingle Bells. She was a great cat who loved everyone and especially one of our daughters. Jingle Bells loved to be pushed around the house in a big cardboard box that my daughter decorated and labeled “Cat Car”. Usually, Jingle Bells was wearing various necklaces at the time. She was quite the character.
Now we have our buff orange boy, George. Also, quite the character. He loves to complain when the dogs bark with a chattering meow. They bark, he complains, they bark at him complaining and he complains more. George hates any door being closed and has figured out how to open them. Sometimes he just likes to open them and walk away. He doesn’t even want to be in the room. Sometimes he’s a little to smart for his own good but we love this handsome boy.
Since we’re all about the orange cats today, meet Tipsy, our Lollypop Farm Pet of the Week.
Tipsy is a handsome 11-year-old cat who is looking for a family! He came to Lollypop Farm when the landlord where he was previously living said that he couldn’t stay. Tipsy can be a little shy at first, but he loves attention and will cuddle up in a fluffy ball right on your lap! Now through Sunday, July 28, Tipsy’s adoption fee has been waived during the Cat Days of Summer Adoption Special, so he can go home with an approved adopter for free. Stop by and meet Tipsy today!
