My husband and I were talking about seafood and I asked him if he had ever had swordfish, and he says, “yea, when we went out to dinner with your parents in NY”. Huh? What? I have absolutely NO recollection of going out to dinner with them. I can remember their apartment, the convenience store my Dad stopped at, the mall we went to, all of that in vivid detail, but the dinner….no. And it is really bugging me, does this mean I’m going to get Alzheimer’s? Elle said she would remind me of everything I loved like, bungee jumping, my love of karaoke, and alligator wrestling. Isn’t she so funny?
I came to realize that since I had my surgery I can wear white pants any time I want! Not like I have white pants, or would look remotely good in white pants, but I could wear them!
This week would hav been the kids first full week of school, and my first full week of work, except for the fact that Wednesday is a half a day. Of course this morning our oldest got up with a terrible cold, so I was home today with him. Figures, with all the half days, teacher workshops, holidays, and kids being sick, I’ll be lucky to ever get a full week of work in!

Because J-Man has an food allergies, every time there is a field trip he has to have a designated person chaperone to responsible for him and to carry his Epi-Pen. If we can’t arrange to go, then the school either has to hire a nurse or the field trip has to be cancelled. It’s a good thing one of us can go with him because really, what’s worse than being the kid responsible for cancelling field trips? I had to shift a few things around to make sure that I was able to go on the field trip to a local farm. Then in October he’ll have another field trip to the zoo. I can pretty much guarantee he’ll hate that field trip. The only time he likes animals is when they’re doing something funny on AFV.
A couple weeks ago I was in our family room and something on the ceiling moved and caught my eye. I got up to take a closer look and saw a few itsy bitsy spiders. Then a few more then Holy Arachnophobia Batman! There were like a freakin’ hundred of those little suckers all over the ceiling. Some stupid spider egg hatched and there I was sitting under lots and lots of baby spiders. I grabbed the vacuumn cleaner and vacuumed the whole ceiling to get rid of all those little suckers. I hate spiders and I was so afraid that they would drop onto my head and because they were so little I wouldn’t know it and I’d be like this walking spider carrier.
I’m a little depressed. You see, my Conair blow dryer that I’ve had since I was in high school finally bit the dust. Believe me that was a long time ago. So now I’m hair dryer less and I really need one soon before the really cold weather sets in. Anybody have any tips on a good blow dryer that isn’t too expensive. I’m kind of sad that I’m pretty sure that whatever dryer I get won’t last as long.
