Aloha Friday ~ Halloween Edition

Friday is the day that Hawaiians take it easy and get ready for the weekend. So in that spirit we’re asking a simple question. Head on over to An Island Lifefor more Aloha Friday fun and to sign Mr. Linky if you’re playing.

Have your kids decided what they want to be for Halloween yet?

Do you make their costumes or do you buy them?

Do you even celebrate Halloween or do you think it is Satan’s birthday like someone

I know?

Halloween is always a big deal at our house. Even though I despise all things crafty, I do make the kid’s costumes every year. J-Man is going to be Yoshi again this year. I just need to make the body because he grew out of last year’s Yoshi body. At least the head still fits him. Sissy still hasn’t made up her mind.

I love Halloween, and decorated the house probably about 2 weeks ago now.  I make most of the kids costumes, although last year my husband brought them to Wal-Mart, and they picked out scary, disgusting costumes.  Of course they did that when they were him, because they knew I wouldn’t buy those for them.  T wants to be Link from the Legend of Zelda…I’m hoping to change his mind, otherwise he’ll look like a gay Robin Hood, no offense.  B hasn’t made up his mind yet.

We just started a new Wednesday Theme we call What The Hell Wednesday. Scroll down to our WTHW post if you want to see what it’s all about and join us next week. Really, what the hell.
