The “Twins Roadtrip” starts today. That is if I can get everything done at home first. I’m driving out with my Mother and leaving everyone else home. That means doing tons of laundry, laying out clothes forJ-Man for the week, planning meals & worrying. That’s the big one. Worrying about the drive. Worrying how things are at home. Worrying that the dogs, especially the puppy won’t drive everyone crazy. Everyone being my husband and my father.

I’ll be skyping every night. I’m fairly certain the kids will get bored with that and wander away to go play video games or watch TV since that is way more interesting than their mother in a boring hotel room.

Yesterday I ran to the mall & got a couple adorable little outfits for the twins and grabbed a tie-dyed sweatshirt for Sissy for $6 from Lord & Taylor. Score! She thanked me for it this morning and J-Man’s head whipped around and he said “You didn’t get anything for me!” I promised to bring him something from Nebraska, like a stuffed ear of corn or a stuffed cow. What else do they have in Nebraska???

I have found myself addicted to Reese’s Piece’s.  I can’t stop eating them!  It’s like “My Strange Addiction”, but it’s just candy, not that I’m eating couch cushions or laundry soap.  What the Hell is up with that show…oh wait, that’s tomorrow….

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day, and when I got home from work Thing 1 who is 12 was very upset, he didn’t get any chocolate roses sent to him at school.  Thing 2 who is 10 got 2!  I asked Thing 2 about it and he said very nonchalently, “yeah I got 2, I just ate them.”
