Yay! Strawberries!

 Finally, it’s strawberry season! We spent yesterday morning at a local farm strawberry picking.

The kids love riding on the big wagon while the farm tractor pulls it out into the fields.

 J-Man isn’t a fan of strawberries, farms, dirt, or nature in general so he sat on a picnic table with his dad while we did all the picking.

We ended up with 13 pounds of strawberries!

So far we have made a strawberry whipped cream angel food cake (for our Disney Daughter)

 and a strawberry rhubarb pie (for my husband).

 Today I’m making baking powder biscuits and whipped cream so I can have my favorite

homemade strawberry shortcake!

We are also planning on strawberry crepes.
