My Bargain is Better Than Your Bargain

Teenagers are the most dramatic creatures on the planet. I know I’ve said this before, but I’m going to mention it again. Everything is so extreme to them. Thing 1 can’t understand why I won’t let him stay on the computer until 12 or 2am each night when he has school. Wow, that’s mean huh? And according to him, totally unfair. Was I ever this bad as a teenager? Wait don’t answer that….

My boys school has not sent out real supply lists yet. Which is super annoying since all the stuff is on sale now before school begins.

I can’t open envelopes with a mail opener without slicing through whatever paper is inside. Every single time.

Getting a pair of $45 shoes for $3.96 makes you feel awesome. Just saying.

I’m the type of person who when they want fudge, will drive to Walmart at 11pm, in sweats to buy the ingredients. And eating yummy fudge at midnight was well worth the trip.

I can beat Stacy’s $45 shoes for $3.96. Today I bought a sweater at Lord & Taylor that was originally $88 and I only paid $2.01, including tax! Yes! Then I was able to buy a fall shirt for J-man that was $28 for $3! Nothing like snagging a bargain. I think that’s why I’m not such a fan of how JC Penney has changed their pricing. I like getting a clearance markdown off the ticketed price and getting an additional discount with a coupon. What about you?

I’m thinking that Stacy didn’t look so out of place in sweats at Walmart at 11pm. I bet she fit right in. Just sayin’

I can’t believe how fast summer went by. Sissy had her fitting last week for the Lord & Taylor Back to School Fashion show. I loved the dress we all decided on. It’s a sleeveless A-Line color block pattern in shades of royal blue, black and white. It reminds of a 60’s style, but it looks modern. Very cute! But don’t tell her I said she looked cute. No 14 year old wants to look cute.
