Not Another Bigfoot Hoax aka What the Hell Wednesday

Wednesdays are great for Wordless and Wordful posts, but we decided to go a different route and create our own Wednesday fun. We figured what the hell. That’s how we started What The Hell Wednesday. Who are we kidding? That’s pretty much how we decide on almost everything. If you want to play along, grab our button on the sidebar, link up to us in your post and don’t forget to sign in to the linky below. Really, what the hell?

When I moved I had joined a few Freecycle groups to search out free household items. It helped, and everything I got for my new place was free. The thing is until you “un-join” these groups, you will continue to receive non-stop emails. I got one the other day that said, “Offer-Queen Size Mattress Some Stains.” What the Hell? It went on to say, “mattress has some stains of unknown substances, these were stains from the previous owner, not us.” Again, What the Hell? So, you’re giving away a mattress with unknown stains, that has been used by at least two households? Ewwwww!!!! No thank you. Even typing this I’m making a “ewww that’s so gross face”.

The other day there was a commercial on for Cialis. You know the time when everyone is home and the kids are watching television with you? Yeah that time. Thing Two (who just turned 12) says, “what’s that for?” I of course froze and was trying to think of a nice way to explain this. My bf jumped right in though and told him pretty much what it did, but not in graphic terms. And Thing 2 said, “what kind of weird witchcraft is that?” What the hell? I just laughed when he blurted that out. I’m sure he heard that saying on a t.v. show, but it still made me laugh. He also commented on why the couple was taking a bath outside, and how they must not have neighbors because they would call the police on them if they did. I think he’s right on that one.

Did you hear about the guy that was dressed up like Bigfoot in Montana? Apparently he dressed up like him and then stood in the roadway. He was hit by two cars and was killed. The police stated that “alcohol probably played a factor.” What the hell, really? Ya’think?

You totally know this has to be the mattress in question.

Stacy stole my Bigfoot story! I don’t know the facts beyond what has been reported in the news, but it sounds like a bad combination of alcohol, Bigfoot and “Hey Earl, watch this!” What the Hell were they thinking??

Back in August of 2008 I posted about a couple guys trying to pull off another Bigfoot hoax. I certainly can’t resist posting it again.

So supposedly 2 guys in Georgia found a dead Sasquatch. Okaayyyyy. Then they had the bright idea of dragging it’s carcass home and sticking it in a freezer. I have to admit my first thought wasn’t “Oh cool, they can prove BigFoot is real.” No, it was “How the hell are they gonna get that Sasquatch stench out of that freezer?” Can you imagine? I’m thinking that BigFoot isn’t real keen on hygiene. I’m not trying to stereotype here, but really, c’mon. I bet bathing isn’t on his top 10 list. Which also brings me to the question, who’s freezer is it? Did they race home and start throwing the food out of the freezer? The wife comes out, “What the hell do you think you’re doing?”

“We found a super stinky BigFoot carcass and we need to put it in the freezer so we can prove to the whole world that BigFoot is real.”

Now you know she’s already had to put up with them going out in their spare time hunting for BigFoot and now they want to take her freezer and stick a dead, stinky BigFoot in it. Even Clorox won’t get that clean. What time is it when you have a dead BigFoot in your freezer? It’s time for a new husband!

This reminds me of the time we were driving back from a wedding and stopped at a Burger King somewhere in Pennsylvannia. My husband came out of the restroom shaking his head and told me “Some homeless guy in there was telling me he saw BigFoot in the woods. He sleeps out there and so, apparently, does Big Foot.” Then the guy came out of the bathroom and started talking to himself. That’s when we took the kids and went across the street to McDonalds. Maybe, just maybe, he wasn’t a crazy, homeless, woods sleeping guy after all.

The two guys with the frozen Bigfoot carcass were actually keeping a Bigfoot costume on ice. So no actual proof that Bigfoot exists.
