Mary Poppins at the Dryden Theater

 I’m so excited that Mary Poppins will be playing at the Dryden Theater on Sunday September 9, 2015 at 2pm, as part of the Dryden Theater Kids Series  at the George Eastman House. If you know me, you kow what a big Disney Fan I am and Mary Poppins is one of my favorite classic Disney Films. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious indeed!
  

The George Eastman House recently announced that all Dryden Kids film screenings will now be FREE for attendees 17 years old and younger. In keeping with its mission to promote the art and history of cinema, the Dryden Theatre is encouraging younger audiences to see films on the big screen in their original formats, as they were intended to be. 

“Our goal is to share the beauty of cinema with people of all ages, and what better place to do that than on the big screen at the Dryden Theatre?” said Jurij Meden, curator of film exhibitions, George Eastman House. “Film is such a beautiful art form, and educating young minds on the history of film by using 35mm prints, projected on the big screen, is an experience unlike any other, and can be found right here at George Eastman House.”

Dryden Kids ticket information
– Adults: $8

– Eastman House members: $6

– Students: $4

– 17 and under: Free
