Our question is What is the strangest, weirdest, funniest job you’ve ever had?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Between the two of us we’ve had a lot of jobs and some of them have been really interesting to say the least.\u00a0I used to be an\u00a0EMT and there were some pretty strange characters that rode in my ambulance. One woman stands out in my mind. We picked her up at the beach\u00a0where she was threatening family members. She was wearing bike\u00a0shorts and a sports bra so we weren’t too worried about\u00a0any weapons. We get her in the ambulance and we’re on the way to the hospital. I turned my back for a moment to make my patch to the hospital.\u00a0I turned back around and I see her sitting there with\u00a0a barrette in her\u00a0hand and she’s sawing away at her wrist with it. Oh, please! I tell her to\u00a0stop and\u00a0she holds up the barrette and\u00a0threatens me with it. So I grab it away and it’s over. No big deal. Later that night when I tell Stacy all about the woman threatening\u00a0me with the barrette, Stacy\u00a0asks “What was she gonna do? Your hair?”<\/p>\n

I once held a job as a Credit Card Processor for an Adult Phone Line.\u00a0 Yes you read right.\u00a0 It was by far the weirdest and funniest job I have ever had!\u00a0 I won’t go into details too much, believe me, you don’t<\/em>want to know about what men call those lines looking for.\u00a0 Two things I learned, first I’m glad I’m not single and second, some men are extremely stupid.\u00a0 One thing I always seemed to get was the dumbass husband who would try to use their wife’s credit card to pay for the call.\u00a0 I would ask, “what is the name on the card?”<\/em>, “Shelia”,\u00a0 “Is this your wife’s credit card sir, because if it is, you can’t use it<\/em>“,\u00a0 “yes, it is her card”,\u00a0 “okay, just put her on the phone so that I can get her permission”, <\/em>\u00a0“are you kidding me? She’d kill me!”\u00a0 What do you think she’d do when she got the bill??<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
