Last week I wrote about making some changes in my life and on this blog. Nothing huge, I’m trying to be truer to myself on the blog and to feel less stressed both at home and work. Those are easy things to put out there when you’re at the tail end of a relaxing vacation, but not so easy to put into practice once you get back to the real world. <\/p>\n

I’m back at work and, as you can imagine, it’s not as relaxing as the beach, but I’m trying. Next week the kids are back to school and I’m totally dreading it. Sissy will be a senior (sob) this year and J-Man is going to be in 8th grade. I can’t believe she’s in her last year of high school!!! She’s excited about next week and J-Man is decidedly not. It’s always a big adjustment for him to get back in the swing of things after summer and that can make for some stressful mornings and nights. Don’t even get me started on the whole homework crap that will be starting up again. Ugh!!<\/p>\n

In other news, my mother gave me permission to use the word “shit” on m blog. Way to take the fun out of it mom. <\/p>\n

It’s possible she’s still using reverse psychology on me, she’s pretty clever like that. To be honest, I learned it from her.
