In honor of the first official day of fall, and in celebration of all things pumpkin, I’m sharing my Grandmother’s Yummy Pumpkin Bread Recipe<\/p>\n

\nIt’s September and you know what that means…. Pumpkin everything! One of my favorite pumpkin treats to make for my family is my grandmother’s pumpkin bread. It’s so delicious and the recipe makes 3 loaves, so there is plenty to share, or put a couple of loaves in the freezer for another day.<\/p>\n

My Grandmother’s Pumpkin Bread Recipe<\/b><\/h2>\n

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
\n4 cups flour
\n3 cups sugar
\n2 tsp baking powder
\n1 & 1\/2 tsp cinnamon
\n1 tsp allspice of ginger
\n1\/2 tsp cloves
\n1 cup oil
\n1 can pumpkin
\n2\/3 cup cold water
\n4 eggs
\nMix all the dry ingredients into a large bowl. Make a well in the flour mixture. Add the oil, pumpkin, and water. Blend well. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Pour into 3 well greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.<\/p>\n
