{"id":2475,"date":"2010-08-02T23:44:40","date_gmt":"2010-08-03T03:44:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bluemonkeybutt.com\/home\/?p=2475"},"modified":"2010-08-02T23:44:40","modified_gmt":"2010-08-03T03:44:40","slug":"sunday-drive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bluemonkeybutt.com\/home\/2010\/08\/02\/sunday-drive\/","title":{"rendered":"Sunday Drive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\"><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-2477\" href=\"http:\/\/bluemonkeybutt.com\/home\/?attachment_id=2477\"><\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">Since we are driving to Florida and I am under doctor&#8217;s orders for mandatory rest stops every 1 &amp; 1\/2 to 2 hours to get out and walk around,<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">\u00a0we have been trying to make the most out of it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">We actually stopped at a scenic overlook in West Virginia\u00a0that normally\u00a0we would&#8217;ve driven by without a second thought.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2477\" title=\"Scenic Overlook in West Virginia\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/bluemonkeybutt.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/img_0300-300x225.jpg?resize=300%2C225\" alt=\"Scenic Overlook in West Virginia\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">Then a little ways down the road we\u00a0came to New River Gorge National Park<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">Home to the longest bridge of it&#8217;s kind in the Western Hemisphere.<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">Really, how could we pass that up?<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2478\" title=\"Stairs to lookout\" src=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/bluemonkeybutt.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/img_0326-300x225.jpg?resize=300%2C225\" alt=\"Stairs to lookout\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">If I had known that it was 173 steps down and I would have to take them all back up,<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">believe me, I would&#8217;ve passed it up.<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">But it was a beautiful spot and we are glad we did it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2479\" title=\"New River Gorge Bridge\" src=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/bluemonkeybutt.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/img_0334-300x225.jpg?resize=300%2C225\" alt=\"New River Gorge Bridge\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">\u00a0We were all amazed at the huge amount of butterflies we saw all over West Virginia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2474  aligncenter\" title=\"img_0307\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bluemonkeybutt.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/img_0307-300x225.jpg?resize=300%2C225\" alt=\"img_0307\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">It made for a beautiful drive\u00a0 and we all saw things we wouldn&#8217;t normally see.<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">The motel we ended up staying in was a completely different story.<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">More suited for <strong>What The Hell Wednesday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">Don&#8217;t forget to join us tomorrow, what the hell?<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 Since we are driving to Florida and I am under doctor&#8217;s orders for mandatory rest stops every 1 &amp; 1\/2 to 2 hours to get out and walk around, \u00a0we have been trying to make the most out of it.
