The other day I was having a conversation with someone and she was talking about curtains.\u00a0 This was how the conversation went, “I have a bunch of curtains you can have, if you don’t like them, put them in a yard sale or give them to the homeless”.<\/em>\u00a0 Wait, what?\u00a0 Give them to the Homeless<\/strong>?\u00a0 For what?\u00a0 They’re homeless<\/em>!!\u00a0 For their cardboard box?\u00a0 “Wow, Joe, your box is the fanciest one on the street ever since you put up those curtains!!!”<\/em><\/p>\n

Tonight on Intervention there was a girl who was an alcoholic and drug addict, nothing new there.\u00a0 The thing is, she looked like she was maybe 40, although with her being on drugs, she may of been 20.\u00a0 I mean look at Charlie Sheen, ewwww!\u00a0 Anyways, she had braces, but she was basically homeless, didn’t have a job, and spent any money she had on drugs and alcohol, sooooo how the hell did she have braces?\u00a0 I’m guessing she doesn’t have a current dental plan.\u00a0 Are they just left on from high school or something?\u00a0 I don’t even know if she stayed sober, I was too focused on her having braces!<\/p>\n

J-Man has a field trip today and because of his food allergies one of us has to be there to carry his Epi-pen. If we can’t be there, the school has two options. They can try to find a nurse for the day to go with him or cancel the field trip for everyone. Really, who wants to be the kid with his own nurse or the kid who caused the field trip to be cancelled?<\/p>\n

I’m so happy it’s almost spring, but that also means it will be time to clean up the yard. With 3 dogs and a long winter that included surgery and ankle issues, well, ewwwww. I saw an ad for this service<\/a> and I was tempted until I saw the price. Too expensive for me. Now if only\u00a0I could get them to do it for a review\u00a0 and advertising on our website. That would be awesome.<\/p>\n

I’ve stopped wearing that boot for my ankle. It hurts more to wear the damn thing and the next day I can barely walk because of the pain. Ya, great therapy there. I go back on Thursday and their bright idea was to try a cast next. Ya, ummm….no. I may be looking for a new ortho after Thursday.<\/p>\n
