The nurse was worried about sending her home on the bus in case she got sick and didn&#8217;t think she should be home <em>alone. <\/em>Okay, I get it, head injury, possible concussion. So now we are home and waiting to see if she gets a severe headache, starts throwing up or loses consciousness. (For the record Mom, she has a small headache and is doing fine). J-Man was happy to see me instead of his sister when he got off the bus today so that was a nice bonus for both of us.<\/p>\n<p>Hmmm&#8230;what should I do while keeping an eye on developing concussion symptoms? I <em>have<\/em> been saying I don&#8217;t have enough time to get housework done. This would be the perfect opportunity to do a few things. But first we decided to watch last night&#8217;s episode of Project Runway.\u00a0<em>Spoiler Alert!!!<\/em>\u00a0 So glad Oliver is out! Why does he sound like he has a fake English accent when he was born in Ohio?!<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday we took Perry the Puppy to be neutered. He was not a happy puppy when we picked him up last night. He was wearing the cone of shame and shaking all over. He wouldn&#8217;t fit in his crate because the cone was too big. I held him in my lap on the drive home and every few minutes he would let out a pathetic whimper just so we would know how horrible everything was and how much suffering he had endured. When we got home, I carried him into the kitchen and placed him on a clean towel. He sat there, not moving, with his head hanging, for a good 10 minutes<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3896\" title=\"perry cos1\" src=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/bluemonkeybutt.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/perry-cos1-300x300.jpg?resize=300%2C300\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Finally he decided he could lay down. But he was still unhappy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3897\" title=\"perry cos2\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/bluemonkeybutt.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/perry-cos2-300x300.jpg?resize=300%2C300\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He managed to get the cone of shame off his head sometime last night. He was less than happy when I put it back on. He is truly unable to walk or do much of anything when it&#8217;s on.
