If it’s Tuesday this must be Random Tuesday Thoughts. It used to be brought to you by Keely <\/a>at The Un-Mom but she’s taking a hiatus. Okay, it’s been a really long hiatus but Random Tuesdays still rock on with help from Stacy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Elle<\/strong><\/p>\n

Most of the time when I do our big grocery shopping my husband comes with me. He likes to cook so he will look for certain ingredients etc. When I shop alone I just go through my list tossing items into the cart as I go. He is an “arranger”. As I throw stuff in and start walking he is walking\u00a0alonside the cart “arranging” everything. I think it’s because he is an engineer and he likes everything in order. Me, not so much. Our son is sooo much like him and he is a little “Engineer in Training”. Last week we were trying to combine errands so he dropped me off at the store and took J-Man to get a haircut. I did my usual speed through my list, tossing items in willy-nilly. By the time they got to the store my cart was overflowing and I was looking for space to put things. They stood there looking at the cart and the little EIT noticed the problem right away. There was a big wasted space under the seat of the cart that they would’ve filled if they had been there to arrange everything. They had a stood there discussing what I had done wrong and how it could have been prevented. Maybe it is easier to shop alone. sigh.<\/p>\n

Last night we received a big “care package” from our daughter in Disney World. The kids, okay, me too, had a great time opening it up and finding a little bit of Disney. She send J-man pins from all his favorite rides to add to his collection and a box of Mickey shortbread cookies. Sissy got jewelry and a wallet and cell phone case. I have a lovely new throw that the kids and the cat totally took over. It is soooo soft.<\/p>\n
