Wednesdays are great for Wordless and Wordful posts, but we decided to go a different route and create our own Wednesday fun. We figured what the hell. That’s how we started What The Hell Wednesday. <\/strong>Who are we kidding? That’s pretty much how we decide on almost everything. Really, what the hell?<\/strong><\/p>\n Stacy<\/strong><\/p>\n The other day the boys were bored, you know when it was like 70-80 degrees out. They decided it would be a good idea to use water balloons. Okay, that’s fine, filling up water balloons takes about 30 minutes, including tying them, and then probably about 5 minutes of fun popping them. They filled them up, we brought them outside and then it happened……they started attacking me with them! The first few weren’t too bad, and I was soaked and then we got down into the bucket. And they had ended up using ice cold water!! What the Hell?????? <\/strong>Actually I think I yelled that, numerous times! I was freezing!!!! Next time we do them, I’m filling them up!!!<\/p>\n A few weeks ago my bff brought me out to the movies. Actually it was her daughters birthday and she wanted me to come along to keep her sane with 3 other teenage girls. It was one of those places that served food while you watched the movie. We got there about an hour before the movie started. We waited…..and we waited….and we waited……and we waited some more. Finally after the movie started they took our order. We thought maybe it wouldn’t take too much time for us to get our food. And then the waitress comes over with our check!! What the Hell???? <\/strong>Um, hello, where’s our damn food??? She was surprised and said, “Oh wait, you didn’t get your food yet? Oh, well here’s your check so you at least have it.”<\/em> Really??? We finally got our food, and then when we kept trying to give the waitress the check with our money, she kept walking the other way!!! What the Hell??? <\/strong><\/p>\n Technology is great, and I love that if my kids actually have their cell phone on, I can get a hold of them. Well last week they had Friday off, and I get this text from my youngest, “When is it my turn to use the computer??? He’s been using it for 1 hour and 8 minutes and I only got to use it for 1 hour???” <\/em>I told him to give his brother 15 minutes and then he could use it, to which he replied, “MMMMMMMOOOOOOOMMMMMMM.” <\/em>What The Hell??? <\/strong>Did he really just whine at me via text??? This is when technology Elle<\/strong><\/p>\n Today started off wonderfully. I took J-Man to the early walk-in hour at his pediatrician and he has pneumonia too. Lovely. On the plus side, we were able to catch his and Sissy’s pneumonia fairly quickly, before they were super sick. On the down side, we have to get everyone better and the house disinfected before our daughter and son-in-law get here for Easter with the twins. We haven’t seen them since August and they have just started walking. No one is going to want to visit a pneumonia house!<\/p>\n I originally joined Facebook because of this blog and most of my friends were fellow bloggers. I avoided adding relatives for a while because I don’t like drama and sometimes family means drama. I’ve slowly added some relatives, friends and co-workers. Last night a drama filled, ranting status update by a relative reminded me why my no relative policy was such a good idea. Too bad they can’t see themselves as others do. They might realize that it’s not always about them and it’s time to grow up. Or, as Stacy says, “suck it up buttercup!”<\/p>\n I had a bunch of other stuff to write that has been bugging me, but the pneumonia kind of trumps them all.<\/p>\n sucks<\/del>, stinks, sorry Mum.<\/p>\n
