Why is it kids tell you something at the last minute?\u00a0 Today while dropping Thing 1 off I noticed all these kids dressed in colors looking pretty weird, or weirder than usual.\u00a0 I said, \u201cum, were you suppose to be dressed up today?\u201d\u00a0 He answered, \u201coh yeah, it\u2019s spirit week I was suppose to wear all blue.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 Yeah, great, how was I suppose to know this?\u00a0 Then after I dropped him off he text me, \u201cWe need to run to Walmart to get a Thor helmet and hammer tonight.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 Really??\u00a0 I guess tomorrow is Super Hero Day.\u00a0 Wonderful.<\/p>\n

Trying to pick up Thing 1 from High School each day is dangerous.\u00a0 OMG!\u00a0 Think too many teenagers, newly licensed, trying to show off, and in a big hurry to leave school.\u00a0\u00a0 It\u2019s like the Mayhem commercial where he pretends to be an angry teenage girl driving an SUV!<\/p>\n

Ever know one of those people who when you tell them a story, they immediately interrupt you and start telling you a story about themselves?\u00a0 They annoy me.\u00a0 It\u2019s fine to share a story when someone else is finished, but come on, how do you have a story for everything??\u00a0 \u201cI want to go skydiving.\u201d\u00a0 \u201coh my cousin went skydiving blah blah blah blah.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 \u201cI have a toothache.\u201d\u00a0 \u201cOMG I had the worst toothache in the whole world, I think it\u2019s in the Guiness Book of World Records, I almost had to have my mouth removed.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 \u201cDid you see that movie last night about the kidnapper?\u201d\u00a0 \u201cOh, when I was younger I was kidnapped by monkey\u2019s and they taught me to throw my poo all over people.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 (okay those are probably some exaggerations on my part, but her stories are pretty outrageous!)<\/p>\n

I was checking out our Facebook Insights and noticed a little pop-up that said “55 People saw your most popular post”. Naturally I was curious what my most popular post was. I was sure it was something profound. Ya, as if<\/em>. It was “The dog just peed on my foot. Wonder how the rest of the day will go. #truestory #mylife”. See, if you like our page on Facebook<\/a> you’ll be able to see all those important dog peed on my foot status updates too!<\/p>\n

Our bank installed a new drive-up ATM. Apparently, they think everyone drives a Power Wheels Barbie Corvette because the damn ATM is too low. I have to unbuckle my belt and lean halfway out the window to push the buttons. Never mind trying to get my money out. I have to twist my hand in some awkward way that hands aren’t meant to be twisted and try to get my money before it blows away. It’s awesome fun. I always take out $20 extra to compensate for the “blow-away” factor. Plus, they have Braille on the ATM, the drive-up ATM<\/em>. What’s up with that? I hope it it spells out something like “If you can read this in Braille, you shouldn’t be driving a car.”<\/p>\n
