On Monday my husband drove my truck to work so he could get an oil change. Which was sweet, but he left me with absolutely no gas! I was driving to work yesterday morning and it was beyond empty. I was really afraid that I would run out of gas before I could get to a gas station. WTH??<\/p>\n
Good thing Stacy has something to vent about because that’s it for me.<\/p>\n
Stacy<\/strong><\/p>\nA few weeks ago I bought a new car.\u00a0 It’s cute, shiny and so so awesome on gas.\u00a0 Well, 2 days later my temporary plate was stolen off of it near the mall.\u00a0 We reported it stolen, and luckily were able to get another plate from a dealer.\u00a0 BUT, the plate they gave me was handwritten with the same number that was stolen.\u00a0 What the Hell?\u00a0 That’s not good right?\u00a0 Guess what, it wasn’t good.\u00a0 The next week I got pulled over by 2 Police Cars in my town because he ran my plate and saw that it was stolen.\u00a0 What the Hell??\u00a0 He was nice enough when he realized that I was the one who reported it stolen.\u00a0 Although if you ask me, you’d think if he read his whole computer screen it would have told him what kind of car the plate belonged to! (mine).\u00a0 This Officer told me I needed to get a new plate number because it will keep coming up stolen and they can, “Come at me with weapons drawn.”\u00a0 WHAT THE HELL???\u00a0 REALLY??\u00a0 Do I look like a car thief?\u00a0 No, I look like a tired Mom in yoga pants!!\u00a0 So now I run to the DMV and tell them I need a new plate with a new plate number.\u00a0 Guess what, they said no.\u00a0 I was told that I had to either register my car right then (for $310) to get a new plate, or deal with the stolen temp plate until the 20th.\u00a0 Yeah I had to choose the 2nd option.\u00a0 The Officer who had originally taken my report called me, and told me that he called the big head honcho at the main DMV and they said they would re-issue me a plate.\u00a0 Awesome…….right?\u00a0 Okay, back down to the DMV yesterday morning, I walk in, and the same woman that waited on me the last time was there.\u00a0 I walk up to the “Help Desk”, and they weren’t even going to let me speak to anyone!!\u00a0 WHAT THE *&^%$##$%^&**( HELL?????????\u00a0 They finally decide they will let me speak to someone, I show them the email from the Officer, so she calls the big head honcho to get the okay on the new plate.\u00a0 Of course because my luck stinks, I didn’t get a new plate.\u00a0 Apparently the big head honcho that the Officer talked to was wrong.\u00a0 What the hell………\u00a0 I’m done, I have 20 days to register my new car, and honestly I don’t think I should be penalized because someone stole my plate 2 days after I bought the damn thing!\u00a0 The DMV in NH needs to change some things.\u00a0 I must say the Officer who took the report, when above and beyond his call of duty.\u00a0 Calling me, giving me his cell phone number and helping me try to straighten things out at the DMV.\u00a0 For now, until next week I’m still driving on a stolen plate, watch for me on the next episode of COPS.<\/p>\n
