Thing 1 is always worried about being on time to school. On Monday he was continually sighing loudly in the backseat. Then he said, \u201cI\u2019m going to be so late for school!\u201d<\/em> He got to school at 7:27 a.m., school starts at 7:40 a.m.! Usually we get there around 7:10 a.m. but still 7:27 a.m. is hardly late! I would much rather stay in bed a few extra minutes than get somewhere super early\u2026\u2026which is probably why he was so \u201clate\u201d<\/em> to school.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve made it through my first week of classes. Not too bad so far. I think I\u2019m doing a lot better than I did in high school, although that\u2019s not saying much since I really wasn\u2019t interested in high school. The only thing is getting used to the \u201conline\u201d<\/em> classes. You have to post to discussion boards and then comment on other peoples posts. It shouldn\u2019t really be hard since I sometimes post on our blog (okay maybe rarely lately), but I have to be careful of my sarcasm. Plus some people write a \u201creport\u201d<\/em> that is 2 sentences. How can I comment on them when they didn\u2019t write enough?<\/p>\n

The other day I got a paint sample for the bathroom. I wasn\u2019t too pleased at first with it, but since it\u2019s dried I think I like it. Because our bathroom has a lot of wood molding and trim, there isn\u2019t much wall space that needs painting, so I\u2019m thinking one more paint sample and I should be able to finish painting. That\u2019s a pretty cheap painting project, two paint samples at $2.68 a piece!<\/p>\n

Last night I saw a new Mother’s Day commercial from K-Mart. The family gives the mom a monkey. The monkey then proceeds to demolish the house. As monkeys do. <\/p>\n

Everybody knows not to buy me a monkey. They are downright creepy and I never want to be known as “the woman who contracted a nasty case of monkey pox”. Everywhere I went after that people would say “Remember when she had that nasty case of monkey pox? They had to quarantine the whole neighborhood and everyone had to get anti-monkey pox shots”. You just can’t come back from being the monkey pox girl. <\/p>\n

The AC at work is broken. That would be why I’m not freezing and my sweater is making me sweat. <\/p>\n

Our trip is coming up fast! I can’t wait to get off the plane in Orlando and take the Magical Express to our hotel. Just the 2 of us. <\/p>\n

I thought I’d be all done with my foster kittens today, but the lady adopting the last 2 can’t take them until Friday. So after the little girl is spayed I’ll bring her back to my house and take care of her and her brother for a few more days. At least they’re cute!<\/p>\n
