Saturday, June 29th, Macy’s Great American Drive-In came to The Marketplace Mall in Rochester, NY.<\/p>\n

They blew up a giant screen in the Macy’s parking lot. I totally want one of these for my backyard. Can you imagine the fun movie parties you could have on warm summer nights? The kids would love it.<\/p>\n

While we were waiting for the movie to start there were carnival games, face painting, and balloon animals. J-Man and his friend chose balloon swords. They had a great time sword fighting in the closed off parking lot.<\/p>\n

Kids were having a great time with the sidewalk chalk and the unlimited space to create their art.<\/p>\n

There was a DJ playing music and a lot of the kids were up by the screen dancing. Once the movie started everyone got comfy in the car with pillows, blankets, balloon swords, popcorn, and glow sticks.<\/p>\n

It was so much fun to take the kids to an old-fashioned drive-in movie. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed “The Smurfs”. Thanks to Macy’s for putting on this fun family event!<\/p>\n
