It's Like Magic

It’s no secret that I wasn’t thrilled with my appointment with the PPS on Wednesday. She had a diagnosis before I got there and didn’t listen to me. I’ve been doing lots of research online and I’m not sure what direction I’m going in right now. It’s pretty frustrating. So today I’ve decided to drown my sorrows in baking.

Today it’s Magic Cookie Bars! I’m going with the theory that since they’re magic they don’t contain any calories. I highly recommend this theory. I think I’ll apply it to Magic Cheesecake, Magic Ice Cream and Magic Mac & Cheese. See, it can work with anything.

 Magic Cookie Bars

Preheat oven to 350 (325 for glass dish)

In a 13 x 9 baking dish place 1/2 cup of butter.

Put this in the oven to melt while the oven heats up

Spread 1 & 1/2 cup of graham cracker crumbs evenly over the melted butter.

Pour one 14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cracker crumbs

Top with chocolate chips and walnuts. Pretty much any topping can be added.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool or chill in the fridge. Cut into bars.
