“The Magic Warble” Book Review & Giveaway

I would love to have more time to read, but I don’t. So when I finally sit down to read I really want it to be a thoroughly enjoyable book. The Magic Warble by Victoria Simcox didn’t disappoint me at all. Sissy also read it and thoroughly enjoyed the story.

It is a story about a 12 year old girl named Kristina who doesn’t quite fit in at her school. Her favorite teacher gives her an odd Christmas gift that will transport Kristina into a realm of fairies, gnomes, and an evil queen with an army of gruesome creatures called zelbocks. Kristina finds herself at the center of it all as “The Chosen One” charged with placing the Magic Warble back in it’s rightful place which will free the land from the evil queen. On her adventure she is joined by Prince Werrien and mischevious fairies Clover and Looper.

The plot has many twists and turns which keep you guessing right up to the end. Kristina has some doubts, but she doesn’t let that stop her from fulfilling her destiny to be “The Chosen One.” She overcomes many obstacles and learns to trust in herself and her new friends.
