If it’s Tuesday this must be Random Tuesday Thoughts. It used to be brought to you by Keely at The Un-Mom but she’s taking a hiatus. Okay, it’s been a really long hiatus but Random Tuesdays still rock on with help from Stacy.

I know I’ve said it before, but I’m really going to try to write more. It’s my New Years Resolution…..I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Hey, they never said there was a deadline on those right? Technically I should have until December 31st to complete that!

I started a new job today. After 5 years at the same place it was really weird to start some place new. Really weird, but really awesome. It’s only 10 minutes from my apartment, so the amount I will save on gas will be great. And I can wear jeans and sneakers every day!! Maybe even flip flops are allowed. It’s different than the atmosphere at my last job…more to come on that tomorrow for What The Hell Wednesday.

The kids are officially on vacation as of today. Thing 2 got out at 11:45, and Thing 1 went to Six Flags in Massachusetts. I went to pick him up at 4:30 pm since the permission slip said, “Departure Time: 7:30 a.m. Return Time: 4:30 pm.” Yeah, guess what time he actually returned at…..6:30 p.m. I knew something was up when I was sitting at the school at 4:30 p.m. and NO other parents were there. Maybe they should have specified that they would be leaving the park around 3:30-4 p.m. and returning 3 hours later. It sure would have made my afternoon a little less hectic….just sayin’

My Spam folder is full of emails that have to do with dating, Christian Singles, Millionaire Dates, Black Singles, Senior Singles, and Senior People Meet Dating, and a few that I don’t want to say. It makes me wonder if Elle gave out my email to some dating site as a joke. I know I shouldn’t think that, but when you get a wig catalog and a Haband catalog in the mail courtesy of your sister, you start to suspect her of other things… Oh and if you don’t know what Haband is, it’s the ugly ass flyer’s in the Sunday coupons that has slacks, house dresses, polyester blouses, and orthotic shoes. Oh yeah she’s hilarious.

I know, I’m hilarious. I admit I’ve sent her a few wig catalogs and the Haband catalog but I didn’t sign her up for numerous dating sites. Damn! I wish I’d thought of that!

I’ve been on a blogging hiatus since we got back from vacation. Mostly because it’s been crazy busy around here and I haven’t had a chance to do anything. I don’t see the craziness dying down anytime soon so I’ll just have to get by on less sleep. I’m a mom so I should be used to being tired all the time anyway, right?
