Join up with the Double O Twins for some Throw Back Thursday Fun. Today’s photos are from their trip to see us here in NY. Hard to believe it’s been over a year since they were here. We miss them so much!

In a few weeks, we are going to Disney World to celebrate our 30th anniversary! Here are a few photos of my very first trip to Walt Disney World, the year they opened, 1971. Pretty sure that’s what started my lifelong obsession love for all things Disney.

Here I am meeting Donald Duck for the very first time. Of course I ran up and kissed him on the beak. I don’t know what that random kid behind Donald Duck wanted, because Donald was all mine. Big shout-out to the woman in the yellow polyester pantsuit. She’s looking groovy!

This ride is long gone, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. You climbed into a very claustrophobic submarine to see the enchanting underwater world. Enchanting until your sub was attacked by a giant squid. The dead cat at the bottom of the sea wasn’t in the original movie, but disconcerting just the same.

Here I am riding Dumbo with my brother. What you can’t see is that I’m wearing an outfit that totally matches my brother’s pants. It was the 70’s after all.
