Jezebel can be kind of a jerk, but she has one endearing habit that gets me every time. 

Jezebel loves paper, loves it like it’s her job. Toilet paper, tissues out of the box, wrapping paper, and tissue paper in gift bags all make her ridiculously happy. If you crumple up a receipt she will come running from wherever she is in the house to get it. So, there’s a good chance you’ll find little pieces of crumpled paper strewn around our house and I can assure you it isn’t trash, they all belong to Jezebel. 

As much as she loves paper, she hates a closed door between her and any of us. She will meow and meow pitifully and scratch at the door. If that doesn’t work, she brings a present back with her and cries and cries some more until you open the door and find the present she brought, one of her precious crumpled up pieces of paper. It’s super sweet, especially from a cat who usually goes out of her way to let you know you’re annoying her.
