Hey Dude: The Complete Series

If you grew up in the late 80’s or early 90’s, chances are you were a big fan of the Nickelodeon series “Hey Dude”. Between 1989 to 1991, 65 episodes of Hey Dude aired on Nickelodeon. Get ready to relive those memories of the Bar None Ranch with Mr. Ernst (David Brisbin) and the rest of his teenage staff because Shout! Factory is releasing Hey Dude: The Complete Series on DVD available exclusively at Walmart as of 3/10/15. The box set includes an interview with Christine Taylor, who played lifeguard Melody, as a bonus feature.

Our oldest daughter loved Hey Dude. I can still remember the theme song from the show. Hey Dude was a show that we didn’t mind our daughter watching. It was fun, didn’t contain any bad language or situations that were too grown-up for her, something we can’t always say about the shows meant for tweens and young teens today.

So grab your cowboy or cowgirl and relive some fond memories of the Bar None Ranch!
