Wordful Wednesday

 “Mom, there’s a horse in the middle of the road.”  That’s what T, our 10 year old said to me yesterday while we were sitting outside enjoying the day.  I answered him by saying, “yea, okay, sure there is.”  He then got upset and yelled, “MOM THERE’S A HORSE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD GO LOOK!!!!!”  Okay, so he was right, there was a big ass horse in the middle of the road.  But I had every right not to believe him, I mean, we live on a “Route”, it’s a main road, and I wasn’t aware of anyone owning horses near us.  Apparently somebody does.  The owner came right after him, but let me tell you it was the weirdest thing I’ve seen in a long time!  Even our dog Bruno, who is a pure beagle, was barking like crazy from inside the house!  It was like he was yelling, “look out people, there’s some big ass animal standing right there near you, let me out and I’ll bark while hiding behind you”.  Or at least, that’s what I think he was saying.  And sorry I didn’t get a real picture of the horse in the middle of the road, but our camera was in the house and I couldn’t grab it in time.
