Ulterior Motives

We just got back from our vacation last night and I’m facing piles of laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning and weeding. So what do I do first? I know, I’ll blog about it instead of doing it. Okay, I do have one load of laundry in the new washer and my husband is in the kitchen making strawberry crepes for breakfast and I’m blogging. I guess it isn’t all bad.

 You may or may not have read my last post that mentioned “Burn Notice”, but my husband really hates that show. Could this be the reason?

I’m thinking it very well could be. You see I set the DVR before we left to record some shows, including “Burn Notice”. No problem. Never thought twice about it. Thursday night we were at my parent’s house and my dad was watching “Burn Notice”. I told him I would watch it when I got home because I was recording it. Guess what? Apparently, my husband had an awesome idea at the last minute before we left. He unplugged pretty much everything. I’m all for saving energy and the environment but I’m pretty sure he didn’t do it for that reason. When I confronted him about my show not recording he said he unplugged everything for safety reasons. Really, this from the man who has started a campfire with gasoline and the man who I caught sawing a same branch he had his ladder leaning against? Well, you get the idea. Safety, I think not!
