Babies in the House Randomness!
If it’s Tuesday this must be Random Tuesday Thoughts. It used to be brought to you by Keely at The Un-Mom but she’s taking a hiatus. Okay, it’s been a really long hiatus but Random Tuesdays still rock on with help from Stacy .

Last week we went to Wal-Mart and did some school supply shopping. There were lots of moans and groans before we left but once we got there they were more than happy to pick out their notebooks (Mario) and other assorted back to school items. Somehow we did manage to come home with a new Angry Birds poster and chocolate. We don’t got back to school until after Labor Day, but from past experience I know it’s better to get our supplies sooner rather than later. J-Man really doesn’t want to be the boy with the pink sparkly pencil case because mom waited too long to go school supply shopping and pink sparkles were the only ones left.
Yesterday our Disney Daughter went back to Walt Disney World for a visit. I tried to convince her that she should send us in her place. After all, it was our anniversary this past weekend and she did give us a night at the Polynesian and tickets to the Luau last year. I told her that I thought she was going to do that for us every year. She wasn’t buying it. I hope she at least brings me home a magnet. I’m ready to go back to Disney right now.
Not only was it our anniversary, it was also my husband’s birthday. Because we live so far away from all of our family, he didn’t expect anyone here. My parents drove out from Massachusetts and our oldest daughter drove out with her husband and their twin baby boys all the way from Nebraska. I almost slipped up and mentioned it sooo many times. I couldn’t even blog or facebook about it! It was hard. It paid off because he was surprised when my parents walked in. The look on his face when our daughter showed up with the twins was priceless. They just turned 7 months old and this is the first time he’s seen them. It’s been a hectic but fun few days holding and playing with babies. They are just so sweet. I wish they didn’t live so far away!
Except for me almost spilling the beans about the visit, my husband is pretty easy to surprise. I am not. I am usually able to guess the presents I get without even trying. This year, because I was preoccupied with the surprise visit, my husband pulled off a huge surprise for me. Saturday night the kids made me go into the living room and there were some cards and a present for me. I was totally shocked and may even have heard a chorus of angels sing when I opened up my very own iPad!!!!!! Getting an iPad for my anniversary totally beats the year my husband bought me chicken potholders. Yes!

I like going to the gym, it makes me happy. I never thought I’d be one of thosepeople but I am now. I love when my friend and I walk in and we don’t even have to “check in.” They just wave at us and say hi. We even got a tour of the new equipment at Planet Fitness. Apparently they got rid of all the heavy lifting equipment, and my friend said, “oh did you lose a lot of the muscleheads that stare at themselves in the mirror.” And the little kid (because he probably weighs 90 lbs) laughed so hard he snorted.
If there is a red button somewhere, someone hasto push it just to see what would happen. Just ask my friend what happened when she pushed the little red button on the new treadmill. Errrrrt (abrupt stop), stumble. Emergency stop. Funny when we got the “guided tour” they didn’t mention what that button did….he he he
Camp should not end 2 weeks before school starts…..just sayin’
Hanging your laundry out to dry will guarantee a rainstorm.
Two boys home alone for 2 weeks before school starts will guarantee a lot of fights….did I mention no camp?
Two boys home alone for 2 weeks before school starts will guarantee that you will run out of food in your house in 2 days….again no frickin’ camp!!!!
I hate people that complain about everything! I know I’m complaining at the moment (no camp), but there are some people that aren’t happy no matter what. I know a few of them, and no one likes them, well except for the other one’s that stand there and complain about everything with them.
