“My Little Pony Friendship is Magic: Royal Pony Wedding” DVD Review

When I was given the chance to review the “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic: Royal Pony Wedding” DVD I was thrilled! My children have all grown up with My Little Pony and are big fans. We’ve had My Little Pony toys in the house ever since they first came out. Even our grown children love My Little Pony!

Before leaving for Blogher, I sat down with the kids and we watched the “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic: Royal Pony Wedding” DVD. My daughter has seen almost all of the episodes but she was happy to sit there and watch them with me. My son has seen them too and will say he doesn’t like them, but he watches very intently and does enjoys them. He just won’t admit it.

The first two episodes deal with the royal wedding and an evil pony that is trying to take over the kingdom. The battle of good ponies vs evil ponies was exciting enough for J-Man to enjoy. The story lines have good lessons like being true to your friends and doing the right thing.

I’m glad that Hasbro started a new My Little Pony series and it’s very popular with all ages of my family. The “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic: Royal Pony Wedding” will be available on dvd August 7th.
