The Jungle Book 2

I received a copy of “The Jungle Book 2” Blu-ray DVD to aid in my review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I loved Disney’s “The Jungle Book” ever since I first saw it in theaters when I was a little girl. I’m going to show my age here by admitting I had “The Jungle Book” album and I played it on my record player until it was all scratched and worn out.

At the beginning of “The Jungle Book 2 Mowgli, voiced by Haley Joel Osment, is living in the man-village but he’s having a hard time adjusting. After a misunderstanding, Mowgli ends up back in the jungle with his old pal Baloo the Bear, voiced by John Goodman. Excitement and danger in the form of Sher Khan follow Mowgli on his jungle adventure. In the end Mowgli has to choose between the life he had in the jungle or the life he has in the village.

I really enjoyed watching “The Jungle Book 2” and seeing my favorite characters again. There’s plenty of excitement and fun songs to keep everyone in the family entertained.
