Summer Fun

Our trip to New England wouldn’t be complete without having lobster, or as they say there, lobstah. It was wicked awesome. Now that we’re back I’m still using my Boston talk. The kids keep telling me we’re not in Massachusetts anymore. But I’m enjoying annoying them. It’s all about the summer fun.

We’re home and the kids are back to destroying the house with all their toys. Right now I have a club/store in the family room built by J.R. He’s used all my throw pillows and several blankets. He’s selling toys and Wii games and remotes. If his sister wants to play the Wii she has to come up with fake imaginary money to buy them. For some reason this makes her mad and she doesn’t want to part with her fake imaginary money. So he won’t give them to her and she won’t pretend to give him money. This is driving me crazy. It’s like they’ve each drawn a line in the sand and won’t budge. I tell her to just pretend to give him money and you can have the stuff. I guess that would be too easy. So this is what my summer mornings are like right now. Yay to all this summer fun.
