An Award!

The wonderful Stephanie over at Life in a Blue Zoo gave us this lovely award.

The instructions are to list 10 things you probably don’t know about us.

Elle

1. I have a 50 foot long tunnel that leads from my basement to my garage. My youngest thinks everyone has a tunnel.

2. I’ve held a lot of different jobs. Some of my various jobs-working for the IRS, a 911 dispatcher for a police department and an EMT.

3. By the time my youngest graduates from school I will have been getting children on the school bus, going to parent/teacher conferences, chaperoning field trips and helping with homework for 33 years. Holy crap!!

4. When I hit the spell check button on a post and it comes up with “No misspellings found” I get all happy. It seems to happen more when I’m solo posting. Just saying.

5. You may or may not know this, but I hate monkeys. For some reason people find this funny and give me monkey themed gifts.

6. Although I dress very fashionable for work, I am not allowed to own a Be-dazzler because I would Be-dazzle the crap out of everything!

7. I love the water and the ocean, but am scared to death to go in an underwater tunnel.  This is either due to that stupid Jaws 3D movie that was in Sea World, or I drowned on the Titanic in a previous life.

8. I love to dance!  I’m not very good at it, but I love dancing.  I would take ballroom dancing, if it didn’t require me to be too close to an ugly, smelly guy….now if it was Giles from last seasons DTWS, well then I would be just fine!

9. As I’ve gotten older I’ve developed a fear of heights…but I have also had the desire to jump out of a perfectly good airplane with a professional skydiver attached to my back.  (one that would hopefully not die mid-air)

10. I am scared to death of vampires…it all started with “The Count” on Sesame Street!  So, please stop asking me if I’d read those stupid Twilight books………NO I haven’t!
