My living room looks like a bomb went off. I’m sure most living room’s look similar to mine. I hate putting all the new stuff away. I think because what ends up happening is I have to organize the boys room’s so that everything fits in there. That’s the problem! If I just threw everything in there it wouldn’t be a problem.
I’m having surgery on Thursday to fix my hernia. For some reason I have a really bad feeling about it. I don’t know why. I didn’t have a bad feeling about the hysterectomy I had over a year ago. But this time I have this nagging bad feeling. I hope it goes away!
Tomorrow I will be leaving Thing 1 and Thing 2 alone for a few hours so I can go to work, and then go to my Pre-Op appointment. I’ve left them alone to run to the store or a few other errands, but this is the first time I will be at work while they are home alone. I don’t know why it bothers me so much, I mean when I was 12 I was babysitting!! Maybe I’m just an overprotective Mom….or so I’ve been told. At least Thing 1 got a cell phone for Christmas so I can text him.

I started back to work last night. Oh well, it was nice having the time off while it lasted. It’s not like I can have another hysterectomy and get another 7 weeks off.
J-Man got some great presents for Christmas, but his most favorite was this cheap toy we refer to as “The Claw”. You have to say it like those little alien guys in Toy Story. He used it to pick up every shred of wrapping paper on Christmas morning and even said “Next time I clean my room, it’s going to be fun!” If I’d known that, I would have bought “The Claw” a hell of a long time ago.

Speaking of texting, he has killed his cell phone battery twice now due to all the texting. And the number 1 person he texts right now…….Sissy! He only had 3 phone numbers and none of them were kids, so I got Sissy’s cell phone number from Elle. I wonder if Sissy is sick of him yet?
