Random Tuesday Thoughts
If it’s Tuesday this must be Random Tuesday Thoughts. It used to be brought to you by Keely at The Un-Mom but she’s taking a hiatus. Okay, it’s been a really long hiatus but Random Tuesdays still rock on with help from Stacy .

I’ve realized that my kids only do “chores” when there’s something they want. Yesterday Thing 1 said, “can I do extra chores around the house to earn extra money?” Um, how about you do the chores you’re suppose to do around the house? You want to add extra one’s, when you don’t even do the one’s I ask you to? Of course once he gets whatever it is he wants, he will stop doing anything at all!
My boys have also started putting in their Christmas Wish Lists early. On them this year, a laptop and a cell phone. Yeah, they aren’t asking for too much.
Thing 1 is 13 now. And he is determined to find a girlfriend. Lately he finds one from school via Facebook and goes from being “single” to “in a relationship“. This happened Saturday afternoon. He then tells me that he’s going over her house on Monday. Well Monday came along and I got this text, “I broke up with my girlfriend.” Me-“okay”. Him- “She was trying to change who I am.” Wow, really? Already? After seeing him one day at school, she’s trying to change who he is? The text just made me laugh. Of course he’s now back to being “single”.

I’m sooooo glad Sissy isn’t on facebook yet. Not for lack of trying, but I’m staying strong.
This morning I couldn’t find our giant beast of a cat anywhere. She’s always the first one upstairs in the morning to see if there is any kitten food left over she can scarf down. When I realized I hadn’t tripped over her yet I started looking for her. I couldn’t find her anywhere. I walked around shaking a bag of cat food, which always has her racing to me, but nothing. It was so strange. I hated to leave without finding her and I worried about how she could’ve gotten outside. Of course when I got home she was waiting at the door for me. She was a little dusty but okay. I’m thinking she got into something a little too small for her giant girth and got stuck. Kind of like Winnie the Pooh getting stuck in Rabbit’s Wall. I wish I could’ve gotten a picture of her like that.
