Apple Time

If it’s Tuesday this must be Random Tuesday Thoughts. It used to be brought to you by Keely at The Un-Mom but she’s taking a hiatus. Okay, it’s been a really long hiatus but Random Tuesdays still rock on with help from Stacy .

I usually get caught up on blogging on Mondays since that’s my day off. Our internet starting acting up on Sunday night but I was watching The Amazing Race so I didn’t think too much about it. It didn’t work all day yesterday and that really messed things up for me. By the time my husband got home from work and got it working again it was homework, dinner and bedtime. So no blogging last night.

Sunday I wanted to put up a post about the new show Pan Am. I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet, but I wanted to share this picture of our Mom back when she was a stewardess. I stole it from her Facebook page. She met our Dad when she was a stewardess and he was a flight engineer. She lived a glamorous life in New York City until she got married and had to quit. Back then, once you got married you couldn’t be a stewardess any longer. They are still married 50+ years later so I guess she made the right decision.

We went apple picking over the weekend to our favorite local apple farm. We picked lots of apples for pie and ate lots of apple cider donuts.

I never get tired of this view!
