It's Two for Tuesday and Other Randomness

Why do I always leave so many things for the morning? J-Man is finishing up some homework, I’ve got magic cookie bars in the oven to bring in to work, I still need to shower, walk the dogs, get J-Man on the bus and get ready for work. No problem. I’ve got all the time in the world apparently. At least that’s what I thought last night when I said to myself ‘I’ll do it in the morning’. Ha!

I heard on the news this morning that the company that makes pink slime beef byproduct is shutting down 3 of it’s companies and will pay their workers for 60 days to see if the company can change public opinion regarding pink slime. They blame social media for the issue. The real issue is the public found out and are disgusted and outraged that this had been added to ground beef without our knowledge. I hate to see Americans out of work but I don’t want that in my food.

Speaking of food, my husband has a business trip to Pennsylvania today and that means Krispy Kreme donuts. It just so happens to be two for Tuesday. Yay! Sissy was pretty happy when I told her that this morning.

My husband has finally given up on me ever ironing his shirts. He grabbed them on his way out the door and is taking them to the dry cleaners to be pressed. Who has time to iron?? Those button down shirts take forever!
