Highlight of Blogher? Meeting the Famous Oreo of Course!

As you may have heard, I went to Blogher, but it was really just an excuse to meet Oreo, the star of Meow Monday. All that stuff in NYC can’t compare. Rooming with Anne from Small Town Mommy was just a ploy to get to meet her cat. After meeting her in person, I’m pretty sure she’s okay with that.

What’s Oreo like in real life? A lot like he is online. Except he’s definitely bigger than I pictured him and his fur feels like bunny fur. Oh, and I’m not really sure if I’m supposed to tell anyone this, but his nickname is Boo-Boo.

By the time I dragged myself in the house last night it was after 9pm. Everyone seemed happy to see my stuff me. There was no doubt that J-Man’s favorite souvenirs were from the Nintendo store. He would have loved it there! Apparently, George wanted to go to the Nintendo store too because as soon as J-Man put the bag on the floor, George hopped in.

Even though Oreo is a big online celebrity, he’s not too big to mind sharing the spotlight with some cats at Lollypop Farm that are looking for their forever home. Here’s our Lollypop Farm Pet of the Week!

Sookie is a 10 year old domestic short hair mix.  She likes hiding out and watching everything from afar but she’s also a big fan of petting and cuddling.  She’s available free of charge for eligible adopters age 60 and over through our Seniors-for-Seniors program.  Come let her check you out at our Fairport location.
