A Great Big Thank You!

As you may already know, the past week has been pretty rough but I’m getting better.

I came home from the hospital a week ago, feeling tired, sore and anxious. The next day the great people I work with brought us a wonderful care package of food, a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a “Deluxe” Snuggie with a booklight. When Sissy saw everything she said “They must really like you!” You know, that’s exactly how I felt. It was wonderful to not worry about what we would have  for dinner for a few days and the flowers are just gorgeous on the mantel and they make me smile whenever I see them. The cats love my Snuggie and usually both of them are cuddled up with me when I use it. The kids are starting to call me the crazy cat lady.

I planned on going back to work this past Monday, but after I saw my doctor she said no, not this week. I felt terrible calling work to say not only wouldn’t I be in that day, but had to take the whole week off too. The first thing they said was “What can we do?” not “You need a doctor’s note.” I’m so lucky to work with such caring people. It really does make a difference. So to all my pharmacy friends at store #24 thank you so so very much!

I still get tired and short of breath, but the pain is better and I’m not so worried about it happening again.

I also want to say Thank You to everyone who has left a kind comment on Facebook and Twitter or called and for all the offers of help. It means a lot!
