Sad but true, I’m looking forward to having a day off tomorrow so I can take a nap. The ex-Scrabble Queen is too chicken for a rematch this week, although she said it’s because she has too much work to do, I know the truth. So that frees up my afternoon for a nap. I’ve even adjusted my work schedule for the next month to have a day or two off during the week so I can nap. At least until I have my surgery next month, naps are a big part of my week. Do I know how to have a good time or what?

My kids are still trying to figure out what to be for Halloween. J-Man is thinking of being a can of Pringles (that will be so not fun to make) and Sissy is still trying to decide on what will win the town’s Halloween Parade costume contest. Winning has been her dream and she won’t give up until she does. It also bothers her that her brother won a few years ago and he wasn’t even trying. She does have her first school dance coming up and it’s also a Halloween costume party. She’s already decided that she’s going to wear her dark fairy costume and it has light up wings. I told her they would look so cool in the dark and I didn’t mention that it would be hard to slow dance with any boys while wearing fairy wings. Bonus!

That’s it for us today, short and sweet. Stacy is off doing some sort of Stacy stuff. Whatever she does when she isn’t doing BMB stuff.
