Meow Monday or Kimmy Did What?

Usually we feature George the kitten for Meow Mondays, but Kimmy-zilla did something so odd yesterday that it was obvious she wanted to be the subject of today’s post. Yes, this is Kimmy-zilla, Kim Kong or Mean Coon Cat, depending on the day and her mood. She’s quite the diva. Yesterday she did something so surprising that I wouldn’t have believed it unless I hadn’t seen it for myself. I was putting on my makeup in my bathroom and I heard water running. I turned around and looked down in time to see Kimmy standing on her back legs with her front legs on the handle of the toilet seat. She pulled down the handle and flushed it. Then she got down and walked away while I stood there in total amazement. I have no idea why she did it unless it was a ploy to push George off this page. I wouldn’t put it past her.

All 3 of our kitties have come from Lollypop Farm. There are always wonderful cats and kittens there that are looking for homes. Today’s Pet of the Week is Archie

Archie is a 6-year-old cat who came to Lollypop Farm from the investigation of the Wyoming County SPCA. The shelter had too many cats and was not caring for them properly, so they were seized and transferred to other shelters. Lollypop Farm took about 30 cats, and Archie was one of them. Even with all the upheaval in his life recently, Archie has adjusted well. He is very friendly and loves being petted and getting attention. He likes being held, too. Archie is available in the Seniors-for-Seniors program, so adopters age 60 and older can take him home free of charge!
