All candy is bad for your pets, but the chocolate Easter Bunny is especially bad. Chocolate contains theobromine which is toxic to dogs. If you suspect your pet ingested any chocolate, call your veterinarian immediately.

3. Easter Grass is another possible hazard. Some cats and dogs love to eat the plastic Easter grass, which could cause an intestinal blockage or other medical issues.

A few simple precautions will help keep your pets safe so everyone can enjoy the holiday. As always, if you have any concerns about your pet, call your veterinarian.
