Counting Down the Days

To say we are all Angry Birds fans would maybe be an understatement. Anytime I’m stuck on a level I pass my phone to J-Man. At 8 years old, he is the resident Angry Birds expert. Of course, we have Angry Birds Rio and they are rolling out updates throughout the year. Since we have beaten the 2 different levels, gotten 3 stars on them and have gotten all the pineapples and bananas, he’s been waiting for the next update in May.

The morning of May 1st, he was up bright and early. He had lost a tooth the day before and I heard him knock at the door it occurred to me that he was letting me know the Tooth Fairy had come. He came in my room and over to my bed. He was bouncing on his toes as he said “Good morning, it’s May 1st.” As I waited to hear about the Tooth Fairy, he said “Can you check your phone and see if there is an Angry Birds update?” Ummm…wait, what?

We checked the phone and to his immense disappointment there wasn’t an update for Angry Birds Rio. Later I did see a post on facebook announcing the update would be out next week. Then today I saw this,

This is for you J-Man!

Not sure how he’s going to be able to wait until July for the next update.
