Road Trip Meow Monday

It’s a road trip Meow Monday for us. We spent the long weekend visiting family in Massachusetts. It was Snuffy’s first road trip and, considering he’s an 18-year-old cat, he did fantastic.

We had to take him to the urgent care vet before we left because he was having some eye issues. We were already planning on taking him with us, but the eye drops every few hours sealed the deal.

Just today I read an article about how senior cats are stressed more easily and how difficult it is for them to adapt to any changes or disruptions in the household.

Here are a few photos of a very unstressed Snuffy. My favorite is the one in the middle all curled up on our bed. Besides the eye drops, the things that stressed him out the most were not being able to sleep on our pillows night and not being able to explore the rest of the house.

Snuffy is such a special boy. He has the best personality, loves people, and is so easygoing. Now we can list road trips to the list of things Snuffy’s done.

Meet Cedar, our Lollypop Farm Pet of the Week.

Cedar, tiger cat

Cedar is a pretty 1-year-old female domestic medium hair who needs a new home.  She is currently supervising the humans in the Administrative offices at Lollypop Farm so you’ll have to ask to meet her at the Adoption Desk.
